What

We’ve elevated the in-store, on-device experience with UX layouts, interactive demos, high fidelity CGI and live action videos, animated widgets, and photography. All these elements combined create excitement and give consumers the information they need to make the final decision to buy.

Target Audience

Our audience is looking for top-tier tech that helps them simplify their busy life so they can live life to the fullest.

He’s an older millennial who's willing to spend the top premium price to achieve top-tier productivity and functionality in his device.

Retail Mode Experience App

(What the user sees when interacting with the Z Fold3 5G in-stores)

Retail Feature Videos

On this screen the user can learn all about the features of the Z Fold3 5G by watching a series of lifestyle videos. To create a more educational interactive experience, we created a demo walking the user through how to use the split screen function, or multitasking for short, on the device.

When swiping to the left, the user is presented with three more widgets that link to separate pages to learn more about Samsung's Z Premier service, current promotions, and why it is so easy to switch to Samsung.

Once opening the device, the user is shown the main home screen. Where the cursor is placed is called the main experience widget. This takes the user to a separate Features screen where the user can learn all about the Z Fold3 5G.

Multitasking Interactive Demo

The purpose of this demo is to educate potential consumers on how to multitask using the split screen function of this device.

Story

The experience begins with the user browsing a blog about Bora Bora to get travel ideas for their next trip. In the blog the author, Des, recommends a resort called 'Bora Bora Bungalows.' The demo guides the user to open a second browser window in order to view both the blog and the resort side by side. The demo then guides the user to open a third window with the calendar app to take a look at potential dates for their trip.

Timing

To create a seamless user experience, our team partnered with UX researchers to develop how much time would be needed in between each interaction before the indicators appeared on the screen to guide them to the next step in the demo. 

Timing also had to be designed for each transition and element before handing it off to the developers.

Content

If only 'Vacation Destiny' was a real blog that we could go to for travel advice. All of the content in this demo was created from scratch from the branding to the copy! This same content is also used in one of our Feature videos for the Z Fold3 5G.

Indicators

The indicators are a necessary part of the demo because they drive the users through the entire experience. 

The look and feel was designed to highlight a particular element or icon on the screen, while moving everything else to the background.
